A couple of years ago I wanted a kitten as a Valentine's Day gift from my (then boyfriend) husband. We went to the Animal Rescue League of Boston. I immediately fell in love with a 3 year old, all white chubby cat! I knew the kittens would be adopted right away and it's harder to get homes for older cats. Phoebe has turned out to be a wonderful pet. About two years later we responded to a 'free kittens' ad and that's how we got Cosmo. Both of my pets are indoor cats and both are fixed and loved!
